An Authority in the Field of Production Services
Damon has led the firm's Production efforts on numerous successful political and issue advocacy campaigns, including the past five Presidential races from Clinton/Gore 1996 through President Obama's 2008 victory. Damon supervised all field production and production management of the closely contested Gore/Lieberman for President Campaign in 2000 and handled Production Management Mayor Bloomberg's 2001 and 2005 campaigns. Those campaigns included over 35 location film and video shoot productions. More recently, Damon worked on SEIU's successful budget battle campaign and a branding campaign in 2007 and helped facilitate what was called one of the best political ads of the 2008 in the DSCC effort in North Carolina's Senate Campaign.
Corporate Production
Damon has also been in charge of Production in a majority of SKD's corporate accounts, including development of rapid-response message-oriented commercials for corporate campaigns such AOL and Procter & Gamble and creation of corporate-image commercials for companies such as Ameritech and Florida Sugar. He also assisted in the development of an innovative, fast turn-around message campaign for Microsoft, following the antitrust suits filed against the company in 2000.
As Director of Production, his current duties include overseeing and managing all stages of production, negotiating contracts with outside vendors, developing and implementing production budgets, and streamlining in-house production techniques. Damon's creativity, diligence, and expertise help to ensure that SKD remains a leader in today's fast-paced media arena.
